Newcastle West based charity organiser Maureen Finnegan has been using Castleisland Community Museum as a drop-off and collection point for non-perishable goods and other items to help in the Ukraine War Appeal. These goods are regularly collected and transported to Ukraine to help alleviate the suffering of those trapped there by the savage war being waged on the country by neighbouring Russia. Do Not Donte Clothes for NowThe collection, transportation and distribution of items of clothing has become unwieldy for the charity. It would be wonderful and mean so much to these people in Ukraine: Canned foods – especially sardines, beans, tomatoes, peas, sweetcorn.
