Though the award is really anyone's game, here are all eight of those nominees ranked from worst to best. Don't get me wrong, they're both fun, enjoyable pop songs, but they're really nothing new or special. By no means is this album Lamar's greatest work, but it is proof that he is a consistently great rapper. Honestly, even if it isn't the "best" album on this list of nominees—and that discrepancy is minuscule—CHROMAKOPIA could still be the most deserving of Album of the Year. Even among such massive competition, Gaga's MAYHEM really is the best album from this slate of nominees.
