Emergency services were called to reports of a casualty on the tracks at around 2.10am, with the person pronounced dead at the scene. A file is now being prepared for the coroner and the incident is not being treated as suspicious. A British Transport Police spokesperson said: "Police were called at around 2.10am this morning (28 January) to reports of a casualty on the tracks at a level crossing in Arlesey. "Officers responded with paramedics, however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene. Great Northern, LNER and Thameslink services to and from London Kings Cross were impacted, with all lines between Peterborough and Stevenage closed while emergency services responded to the incident.
