BARTON COUGARS 84, COLBY 56 — Aris Rodriguez poured through 24 points and Blake Rucker (14), Sebastian Muchitsch (13) and Jayden Ramirez (11) scored in double figures as the Cougars roared past the Colby Trojans 84-56 in Wednesday's Jayhawk League basketball game. Rucker supplied a career-high 14 points off the bench, dumping in 11 in the first half. Jon Byrd anchored the defensive effort with a career-best four steals, helping Barton force 13 Colby turnovers for a plus-10 scoring advantage. Cason paced the Trojans with 12 points apiece, Nana Keutcha finished with 11, and Giannis Asimakopoulos added nine points. Barton secured its 12th straight victory over Colby by its largest margin since 2010.
