Great Bend's state bowling champion Zoey Mayberry has signed a letter of intent to compete in bowling with the Barton Cougars. Mayberry is a 3-time state champion bowler. She helped Great Bend capture back-to-back girls state bowling championships in 2023 and 2024. Mayberry has placed sixth (591), 10th (576) and 13th (565) at the past three Class 5A girls state bowling championships at Wichita. Coach Perry believes the addition of Mayberry will help the Cougars contend for an NJCAA bowling national championship berth in 2027.
