The Coopers' Company and Coborn School claimed the number one state school title for the second year running, while also securing 10th place overall in the School Sport Magazine 2025 rankings - the first time it has appeared in the national top ten. The rankings are based on performance in national finals, and the school earned national titles in athletics, swimming and biathlon over the past year. In this year’s rankings, Millfield School topped the nationwide list, followed by Whitgift in second and Guildford High School in third. Coopers’ Company and Coborn’s tenth place puts it ahead of schools such as Alleyn’s School, Northampton School for Boys, and King’s College Wimbledon.
