Donations from hunting and fishing license buyers to Arkansas Hunters Feeding the Hungry have officially topped $1 million, boosted by more than $18,800 collected in December. “Hunters in Arkansas have responded with amazing generosity,” said Ronnie Ritter, AHFH president. “Hunters can donate entire deer through participating processors, helping feed families and support their local wildlife management,” Ritter said. Jeremy Brown, Deer Management Assistance Program coordinator for the AGFC, said donations also help hunters manage deer herds and preserve habitat.
