Investing.com -- Royal Caribbean Group (NYSE:RCL) shares surged 8.2% after the cruise operator reported fourth-quarter earnings that met expectations and issued 2026 guidance that exceeded analyst estimates, signaling continued strong demand for cruise vacations.
Looking ahead, Royal Caribbean expects adjusted EPS for 2026 to be in the range of $17.70 to $18.10, above the analyst consensus of $17.66.
The company reported strong booking momentum, noting the highest seven booking weeks in its history during Cyber Sales and the onset of WAVE season.
Royal Caribbean also announced expansion plans, including a new Discovery Class for Royal Caribbean with two firm ship orders and options for four additional ships, with the first ship set to debut in 2029.
