Toyota’s performance was particularly strong in the United States, where hybrid vehicles like the Prius and RAV4 models drove demand. U.S. sales of Toyota and Lexus vehicles rose 7.3% to 2.93 million units. In November, Toyota estimated that U.S. tariffs would cost it 1.45 trillion yen ($9.7 billion) in its fiscal year ending March 2026.
