More evidence of a PS5 version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance has emerged, thanks to the most trustworthy leaker of all time: a console storefront. The now-deleted blurb (which was caught by Gematsu) read "The PS5 version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance now features graphical updates including 4K resolution, improved framerate, high-resolution textures, and many more. Last year, in the wake of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's massive critical acclaim, Twitter user PlayStation Game Size – who previously leaked the arrival of Cyberpunk 2077's native PS5 version – said the updated version was on the way, which coupled with a cheeky nod from the Kingdom Come Twitter account made it look like something was imminent. To go somewhat copium mode – as someone who bought the original last year in the hopes of a free PS5 upgrade because I really want to play the sequel – Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 released on February 4, 2025. Kingdom Come: Deliverance devs considered Robin Hood's England or medieval Germany, but they "knew nothing" about them.
