Lake County sheriff’s deputies responded 10:30 a.m. on May 11 to a report of a stabbing in the 4000 block of West Nine Mile Road in Eden Township. Dispatchers informed sheriff’s deputies that a woman had called, stated she killed her 69-year-old husband, and then hung up the phone. Her office began managing the Lake County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office in June when the prosecutor resigned.
