Gwrych Castle Preservation Trust praised Conwy County Borough Council’s Licensing Committee decision, made on January 26, to refuse four DMMO applications for claimed public rights of way at Gwrych Castle. The statement continued: "We wish to be absolutely clear that Gwrych Castle has never opposed reasonable public access to the wider estate.
