Bruce Springsteen has released the anti-ICE protest song Streets of Minneapolis. Springsteen said in a statement: "I wrote this song on Saturday (24.01.26), recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. "It's dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbours and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good. Springsteen, 76, honours the victims directly in Streets of Minneapolis, singing: "There were bloody footprints / Where mercy should have stood / And two left to die on snow-filled streets / Alex Pretti and Renee Good." The Born in the USA artist also branded Trump's administration as "corrupt, incompetent and treasonous" during a concert in Manchester last year.
