The figures were compiled through the passenger survey carried out by the statistical service, providing a detailed snapshot of tourism performance. For the January-November 2025 period, tourism revenue is estimated at €3.6 billion, up from €3.12 billion in the corresponding period of 2024. Despite higher overall revenue, the average expenditure per tourist declined, reflecting changes in spending patterns. Tourists from the United Kingdom remained the largest market, accounting for 22.70 per cent of total arrivals in November 2025.
