The next chapter of The Exorcist is coming together, and it just landed a seriously cool addition. Diane Lane has officially joined the cast of The Exorcist, the upcoming reboot being written and directed by Mike Flanagan. Lane will star alongside Scarlett Johansson alongside Hamnet breakout Jacobi Jupe. What we do know is that this movie is telling a completely new story set within The Exorcist universe and has no narrative connection to The Exorcist: Believer from 2023. Universal has already locked in a theatrical release date, with the new The Exorcist set to hit theaters on Friday, March 12, 2027.
