A man in his 30s has been killed following a road crash in Co Monaghan last night. Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a fatal single-vehicle road traffic collision involving a car, at Inishammon, Smithboro. The collision, on the R187 between Monaghan and Rosslea, occurred at approximately 7.30pm. The sole occupant of the car, a man aged in his 30’s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
