(MLive file photo) John TunisonJAMESTOWN TOWNSHIP, MI – A 40-year-old Hastings man was extricated from his vehicle and hospitalized for his injuries after a two-car crash in Ottawa County Tuesday. First responders were called to a crash at 48th Avenue and Byron Road shortly after 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 23, in Jamestown Township, according to the county sheriff’s office. The Hastings man was pinned inside the Audi and was extricated by Jamestown and Zeeland Township Fire Department personnel. He sustained serious injuries and was airlifted and taken to a local hospital.
