News Investigators/ Jigawa state government has approved N2.6 billion for the conduct of the 2026 Hajj exercise. Sagir Musa, Commissioner for Information, said this while briefing newsmen on the outcome of the State Executive Council (SEC) meeting, on Wednesday in Dutse. He said the approval would facilitate smooth and efficient transportation and welfare of intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for the Hajj exercise. Mr Musa reiterated commitment to smooth Hajj exercise in line with the guidelines set out by the Saudi authorities, stressing that the government would ensure transparency and accountability in the exercise. He said the government directed relevant agencies to work closely, to enable the pilgrims fulfill their religious duties without hardship.
