Major elements of the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) in Ravensthorpe, West Yorkshire, are advancing with engineers reporting substantial progress on a replacement station, a new Calder Road bridge and the Baker Viaduct.
The old Ravensthorpe station was closed in December.
The TRU project includes construction of a new Ravensthorpe station about 200m west of the former site.
Last year contractors installed 20 precast concrete beams on the Calder Road bridge; work is now under way fitting parapets to complete the structure.
The new Ravensthorpe station is scheduled to open in summer 2028.
