BASSETERRE – The National Assembly of St. Kitts and Nevis wrapped up a week of parliamentary diplomacy at the 28th Conference of Speakers and Presiding Officers of the Commonwealth in New Delhi, India, from January 14-18. Speaker of the National Assembly Hon. During the five-day gathering, the St. Kitts and Nevis delegation engaged in discussions with multiple representatives, including Hon. Kamaljeet Sehrawat, Member of Parliament for West Delhi, officials from the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, and the Inter-Parliamentary Union. The National Assembly’s participation reflects St. Kitts and Nevis’ commitment to modernizing its legislative practices and engaging in international parliamentary cooperation.
