The Central College women’s basketball team snapped a six-game losing streak with a 72-43 victory over Nebraska Wesleyan Wednesday night, while a strong start wasn’t enough for the Dutch men in an 87-66 loss. The Prairie Wolves also scored the fewest points allowed by the Dutch all season. After a pair of overtime wins last week, the Central men played Nebraska Wesleyan to a 32-32 tie at halftime in the nightcap. Kyle Cason and Owen Schipper each scored 14 points to lead Central offensively, while Bradley Curren had 13 and Braylon Thomsen added 12. Central is off this weekend, before returning to action next Wednesday in Dubuque for a doubleheader at Loras starting at 5:30 pm.
