Severn Trent Water customers are set to see a sharp rise in their bills from April 2026, with average charges increasing by around 10 per cent for the coming financial year. This means Severn Trent customers will face almost double the national average increase. A Severn Trent spokesperson said:“Severn Trent bills remain the second lowest in the country, £73 below the national average for water and waste services and £172 lower than the highest bill. “It is £73 below the national average of £660 for water and waste company bills, and £172 lower than the highest water and waste bill in England and Wales. “In cash terms our bill increase is £52 per year, which is lower than other water and waste companies like UU’s increase of £57, Southern at £55.
