Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Threads WhatsApp TelegramSIBU (Jan 29): The Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) has taken a key step toward reinstating ownership of three shoplots serving at its party headquarters at Jalan Kampung Dato with the signing of a Statutory Declaration to enable the reissuance of their lost land titles. SUPP president Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian yesterday officially signed the Statutory Declaration at the Land and Survey Department, a mandatory requirement in the application process for replacement land titles. Wong explained that the return of the buildings followed a decision by the Sibu High Court, which confirmed that all three properties are the lawful assets of SUPP. Dr Sim further said that in May 2025, the Registrar of the Sibu High Court signed the share transfer forms (Form 32A) to SUPP, formally acknowledging the party as the true owner of the shoplots. He also noted that a Memorandum of Transfer signed by the SUPP president, secretary-general and treasurer was subsequently submitted to the Land and Survey Department on Dec 12, 2025 for final registration of the land titles.
