The NSPCC’s redeveloped Baby Steps programme aims to boost support for expectant and new parents in the South West. "It is such an important time for a child’s development, and perinatal services, like Baby Steps, can be an enormous support to help parents navigate that exciting and sometimes difficult period. Baby Steps is a programme that supports expectant parents and helps give them the tools and confidence to cope with the challenges and stresses that come with caring for a new baby. Chris Sherwood, chief executive of the NSPCC, said: "The Baby Steps service provides building blocks to help parents navigate the very first stages of a child’s life to ensure they thrive.
