The European Union (EU) – in partnership with other European development actors and government – has launched a four-year programme to promote a greener, more digital and inclusive private sector in Ghana. The initiative, launched in Accra, aims at bringing together public and private sector stakeholders to drive sustainable growth, expand digital innovation and strengthen opportunities for businesses across the country. The project, dubbed ‘Green, Digital and Inclusive Private Sector Development (GDI PSD)’, is jointly financed by the EU, the Netherlands and France. The private sector roundtable event brought together key business leaders and entrepreneurs to discuss the project’s objectives, explore synergies with existing initiatives and identify opportunities for collaboration. Through the GDI PSD project, the EU and its partners aim to build a more resilient, competitive and inclusive private sector that delivers sustainable growth and job creation across Ghana.
