Booking for Nipawin opens Jan. 21, and bookings for Melfort and Tisdale open Jan. 28, with appointments available in each community starting one week after booking opens. The online tool allows patients to schedule appointments for blood and urine collections, electrocardiograms (ECGs) and glucose tolerance testing at participating Saskatchewan Health Authority locations. To book online, patients must have a valid Saskatchewan health card and provide a phone number or email address to receive appointment notifications. The SHA has been progressively rolling out the online booking system to more communities across Saskatchewan as it expands access to laboratory services.
