A fresh class of medical students have started in Narrogin, with all five emerging doctors keen to devote themselves to rural medicine. Emma Christiansen, Hamish Watson, Kingsley Fist, Tom Burness and Mia Nandapi started their year-long Rural Clinical School of WA placement at Narrogin Health Campus on January 19. She said rural medicine felt more personal. “I hope to get more knowledge and understanding of rural medicine and the people that it can help, and how to help them,” he said. Narrogin lead medical co-ordinator Andrew Knight said he was excited to work with the new year of medical students.
