Perth Scorchers captain Ashton Turner has floated rising star Cooper Connolly as a possible future captaincy option as plans to future-proof the club’s unmatched success continue to unfold. The three-time title-winning captain turned 33 on the day of The Final and has now been in the role for six full seasons.
