Police are seeking information regarding a scrub fire in Peron on Saturday, January 17. The fire started in vegetation in the reserve area adjacent to Rockingham Lakes Regional Park, near the intersection of Lease Road and Memorial Drive. Department of Fire and Emergency Services received multiple triple zero calls just after 9pm and more than a dozen appliances rushed to the scene. Anyone with CCTV, mobile phone, or dash-cam vision relating to the fire, can upload the vision directly to investigators via this link. Rewards of up to $25,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
