Seven players on the Coyotes Men’s Basketball Men’s Basketball roster have gotten injured this year, and six of them have missed at least seven of the 22 games played this season. The biggest injury came just last week, as leading scorer (20.8 ppg) Isaac Bruns has missed the last two games for South Dakota. The two new players have used the opportunity to play for South Dakota, as Bennion entered the starting lineup due to the Bruns’ injury. Hudgens has taken on more of a scoring role for the Coyotes averaging almost seven points per game, including a 17 point performance in his first game for South Dakota. He’s been the backup for South Dakota, who hadn’t had one since Brack went out with an injury.
