Five out of the ten suspects accused of digging up the grave and extracting human tissues pleaded guilty to the charges when they appeared in court yesterday. However, the state has withdrawn charges against three suspects, Group Village Headman Khombera, Lazaro Gidion and Yakobe Chadza, who were initially linked to the case. The remaining two suspects, Farai Mwambukulu, a businessman based in Ntchisi District, and Tonny Chawanda Mwale, have denied all the charges levelled against them. The case will return to court on February 9 for further proceedings.
