In their February to April forecast, the Meteorological Service in the Ministry of Works and Transport, said rainfall will likely become more variable in Namibia, with some areas receiving good rains while others remain dry. “During February and April, normal rainfall is expected over Kavango East, southern Otjozondjupa, northern Khomas and eastern Karas regions. The bulk of the country is likely to experience above normal rainfall.”The Meteorological Service informed that the northern half of the country is likely to receive rainfall between 150mm and 250mm, while the extreme western and southern regions can expect rainfall below 150mm. They indicated that there will be a higher likelihood of above normal temperature across most parts of the country. “The central, eastern and southern parts of the country are expected to experience normal temperatures.
