ISLAMABAD – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday rejected any connection between the Board of Peace and the Abraham Accords, saying that Pakistan will not join the accords. During a weekly briefing in Islamabad, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Tahir Andrabi explained that Pakistan remains a safe and open country for international travelers. Several previous security concerns have been removed, making travel to Pakistan easier for American citizens. Pakistan is hopeful that it will soon be removed from the visa restriction list, and diplomatic efforts are ongoing in this regard. Finally, the spokesperson firmly rejected any link between the Board of Peace and the Abraham Accords, confirming that Pakistan has no intention of joining the accords or any international stabilization force.
