LAHORE – The body of 10-month-old Rida Fatima, who tragically fell into a sewer near Data Darbar, has been recovered from the sewer line at Outfall Road, according to rescue officiaIn response to the incident, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has ordered immediate and strict action against the administration for its negligence and lack of oversight. The preliminary investigation report has revealed that the mother, child, and father were seen shopping near Data Darbar at 6:47pm. They were observed at 7:22pm in front of Data Darbar, and at 7:30pm, the family was heading towards Old Parinda Market. The body of the woman who fell into the sewer had already been recovered earlier, while rescue operations continued to locate the missing child. The Punjab government has vowed to take necessary action to address the incident and prevent such occurrences in the future.
