PayLater Secures USD10 Million Seed Investment to Expand Services in Qatar

PayLater, a Qatar Central Bank–licensed Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) platform, has closed a USD10 million seed funding round, the company announced.
The round was led by LuLu Alternative Investments Portfolio, with participation from Qatar Development Bank, KBN Holding, and a group of angel investors.
Commenting on the funding, Mohammed Abdulaziz Al Delaimi, Co-Founder of PayLater, said, ‘Closing a USD10 million funding round at this stage is a strong validation of the real demand for flexible and responsible financial solutions in the Qatari market.
The company has also secured a QAR100 million credit facility from Qatar Islamic Bank and Al Rayan Bank to support its growth.
PayLater is Qatar’s first BNPL platform licensed by the Qatar Central Bank.
