Tipperary University Hospital management is advising of changes to visiting restrictions at the hospital from today (Thursday, 29 January). Having been temporarily closed to visitors since January 9 due to recent flu and virus outbreaks, visiting of patients is now permitted daily from 6.30pm – 8.30pm. Visitors and staff are asked to wear surgical masks and ensure adherence to hand hygiene guidelines. Visitors are requested not to visit if they are feeling unwell as this poses a risk to loved ones and other patients. Children are not permitted to visit.
