Lahore: The body of a 10-month-old girl, who had fallen into an open sewer near Data Darbar, has been recovered, rescue officials confirmed on Tuesday. According to Rescue 1122, the body of Rida Fatima was found in a sewer line near Outfall Road, hours after she accidentally fell into an uncovered manhole along with her mother. Earlier, the body of the child’s mother had already been recovered from the sewer. Meanwhile, an initial investigation report revealed that the victim, her husband, and the infant were last seen shopping near Data Darbar at 6:47pm. The report further stated that at 7:32pm, Rescue 1122 received an emergency call reporting that a woman and child had fallen into the sewer.
