The National Institute of Cooperative Management (NICM), Chennai, has commenced a three-day training programme on Liquidation Management and Litigation Management for cooperative audit officials at its campus. The programme is aimed at Junior Cooperative Auditors (JCAs), Senior Cooperative Auditors (SCAs) and Cooperative Audit Officers (CAOs). The training programme was inaugurated by G. Suresh, Director, NICM, who also addressed the participants. Suresh also spoke on recent developments in the cooperative sector following the formation of the Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India, and underlined the evolving role of cooperative audit officials in the digital era. Dr A. Anuradha, Faculty Member, NICM, is the coordinator of the training programme.
