Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail will roll out a new innovation as Absolut Vodka and Tabasco partner to launch Absolut Tabasco spicy flavoured vodka. Tabasco sauce has been produced on Avery Island, Louisiana since 1868, using three ingredients: red peppers, salt and vinegar. Absolut Vodka is produced in Åhus, southern Sweden, using water from a local deep well, winter wheat grown on nearby farms and a proprietary yeast strain. The Absolut Tabasco bottle design references both brands, combining Tabasco colour cues and labelling with Absolut’s apothecary-inspired bottle shape.
