Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport has officially opened its outbound duty free store in Terminal 3 on 26 January 2026, marking a major milestone in the partnership between China Duty Free Group (CDFG) and the airport, as reported by China’s Duty Free Expert. Senior representatives attending the opening ceremony included Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Vice President, Qi Yaoming and China Tourism Group Duty Free General Manager of Retail Operations, Zheng Hao, alongside leaders from multiple airport business units. The new duty free space is anchored around a strategy of brand diversity, experiential retail and premium service standards.
