Representing Nigeria, the Honourable Minister of Women Affairs, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, executed the MoU, while Türkiye’s Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Ozdemir Göktaş, signed on behalf of her government. She pledged that the Ministry of Women Affairs would work “faster and smarter” to positively impact no fewer than 50 million Nigerians by 2030 through focused and effective social development interventions. The signing concludes a year-long engagement between Nigeria and Türkiye and reflects the country’s determination to adopt global best practices in advancing gender equality, child welfare, and inclusive social development.
