Police were called yesterday (Wednesday) after a member of the public came across the young boy on Aberdour Road shortly before midday. Fife Council education manager Karen Lees said: “On Wednesday, a school child briefly left the school grounds and was located a short time later at Aberdour Road and returned to school. “Staff acted immediately upon noticing the child was missing and began searching the local area. The child’s family, and wider school community, were quickly informed. “The safety and wellbeing of children in our care remains our highest priority and we'll conduct a full review of the circumstances to ensure this does not happen again.”
