The alarm was raised on Adamson Crescent just after 11pm last night (Wednesday). Four fire engines from Dunfermline and Lochgelly were at the scene for more than four hours, using four breathing apparatus sets and two main jets to tackle the fire. A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 11.06pm on Wednesday, January 28 to reports of a fire within a dwelling in Dunfermline. "Operations Control mobilised four appliances to the city's Adamson Crescent, where firefighters extinguished the fire and worked to make the area safe before leaving the scene. "There were no casualties."
