Persona co-creator Kouji Okada has now officially announced his previously teased school RPG, which is being developed by Compile Heart. Villion: Code, as reported by Gematsu, will launch on 25th May in Japan. There’s currently no word on a Western release, but we’d be shocked if this doesn’t make its way overseas eventually. As we previously noted, this features character art by Russian illustration Ilya Kushinov, whose distinctive, vivid style is evident across the cast. So, the narrative and gameplay seems fairly generic, then, but the style may appeal to fans who’ve been waiting patiently for Persona 6.
