Highguard had a pretty enormous launch this week, but things already aren’t looking particularly good for Wildlight Entertainment’s debut project. As we reported earlier in the week, following the first-person shooter’s reveal at The Game Awards and subsequent social media silence, there was enormous interest in its 26th January launch. On PC platform Steam, the only storefront where we get concurrent player data, the title peaked with 97,249 players. But that number has collapsed in subsequent days, with the release managing a high of just 12,478 players over the past 24 hours. How are you feeling about Highguard now you’ve had a few days to put it through its paces?
