Final hours before new $45 TSA fee applies to ALL travelers – and why you could be charged twice

A NEW $45 airport security fee that could affect every traveller comes into force in just hours – and some passengers risk paying it twice if they’re not prepared.
TSA ConfirmID is a paid service that verifies travelers’ identities and helps ensure the appropriate level of security screening.
The ID is a modernized process for travelers unable to present the required acceptable ID to have their identity verified at the TSA checkpoint.
If you do not have acceptable ID, TSA recommends prepaying through Pay.gov before arriving at the airport.
The fee allows use of TSA ConfirmID for 10 days from the date of travel listed on the receipt.
