EDINBURGH’S most expensive address has been revealed with the average house costing nearly £3.5m, according to new research from buying agency Fyndd. Hope Terrace in the sought-after Grange area of the capital has been named as the priciest street, commanding the highest average price of sales over £1m at £3,444,632. Ever-popular Ann Street in Stockbridge is an example of this, with an average house value of £1,857,818 but a considerably steeper £779 per square foot – the most expensive in Auld Reekie. Napier Road in Merchiston came in second for both average value (£2,645,667) and price per square foot (£744), with six properties sold there since 2020. “Generally, the larger the property the lower the price per square foot and buyers can enjoy a lot more space for their money.
