Hoyt Library’s winter basket raffle: Purchase tickets through Saturday, Jan. 31; winners contacted Monday, Feb. 2. Purchase tickets at the circulation desk for $1; $5 for six tickets; $10 for 15 tickets. The meeting is open to municipalities, groups and individuals in the Wyoming Valley wishing to participate. Proceeds benefit St. Joseph’s Center, Little League team sponsorship, Feed-a-Friend, Valley Santa and many other youth groups, organizations and community projects.
