A total of three appraisal and three exploration wells were completed in 2025. No exploration wells were spudded in 2025. Two of the three exploration wells were successful, at 30/7a-R3 Jocelyn South and 21/3a-H5 Brodgar North, both drilling from production templates. The 34/4-19 S Omega Sør Alfa well, operated by Equinor, was spudded on 23 January 2026 with the Deepsea Atlantic semi-sub. The Equinor-operated 34/8-A-37 H Skoll & Hati well was spudded on 17 January 2026, from the Visund A platform.
