James Fisher and Sons has reported a 4% year-on-year uptick in revenue for 2025, “despite softness in oil and gas,” chief executive Jean Vernet explained.
The firm is set to publish its full-year results in March, but has confirmed in atrading update that revenue for 2025 stood at around £395 million.
The UK firm forecast continued success, although it added that boosts are “once again expected to be seasonally weighted towards the second half” of 2026.
James Fisher made headlines last week when it took a minority stake in Ocean Aero, a US-based creator of underwater drones.
Ryan Duff is Aberdeen features lead at Energy Voice.
